ISOPLUS SPORTS ENERGY DRINK. We present our new energy drink with electrolytes specially formulated for endurance sports. Much more than a conventional isotonic!
- Carbo Mix Pro:
Carbohydrates are the predominant fuel during high intensity physical activity, so they will play an important role in performance.
We use a combination of carbohydrates of different assimilation rates in the ideal proportions (1-1-1) maltodextrin, amylopectin, isomaltulose (palatinose®)
Amylopectin is digested and absorbed at a high rate.
Maltodextrin and amylopectin are oxidized quickly, so it will provide immediate energy.
Isomaltulose (palatinose®) has a lower oxidation rate, so we will cover energy needs in an immediate and prolonged way.
- Provides BCAA´s:
-Three essential amino acids: Leucine, isoleucine and valine in a 2: 1: 1 ratio.
Among the properties of BCAA’s are:
-Reduction of fatigue at the central level.
-Decrease muscle damage related to exercise.
-Some studies associate its intake with faster recoveries and a reduction in post-exercise muscle damage and discomfort.
BCAAs are metabolized in the muscles, not in the liver. Therefore, this metabolic process allows our muscles to work in optimal conditions.
Improves osmoregulation processes, essential in endurance sports. Improves the assimilation of other nutrients.
If the balance of electrolytes in the body is lost, performance will not be the same and there is a risk of muscle fatigue, cramps, muscle spasms, nausea, muscle weakness …
It is the mineral that is lost in the greatest quantity through sweat (500-600 mg / hour), so we must provide drinks that contain it. Losses are greater in conditions of high temperature, humidity, altitude or high intensity.
It will intervene in the regulation of the activity of the muscles and nerves, playing an important role in the transmission of the nerve impulse, in the heart rate and blood pressure, as well as in the storage of carbohydrates and their transformation into energy.
It is involved in multiple enzymatic reactions, helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue, the proper functioning of the heart, energy metabolism and protein synthesis and muscle relaxation, among others. Its deficit can cause cramps, muscle aches, tremors, heart rate changes or decreased blood pressure.
The transmission of the nerve impulse, the activation of the nerves and muscles, as well as the derived muscular contraction depend, to a large extent, on this mineral.
- Vitamin B6:
Pyridoxine, commonly known as vitamin B6, plays a fundamental role in the metabolic processes of our body. It is a water-soluble vitamin, so we have a limited storage capacity and must be ingested in our usual diet.
Vitamin B6 performs numerous functions in our body, among which are:
-Improves the immune system.-Its action on the neurotransmitters of the nervous system and its participation in the transformation of muscle and liver glycogen into glucose are reactions dependent on vitamin B6.
- Vitamin D:
It helps us fight fatigue and be more vital and energetic. Vitamin D is important for assimilating other nutrients, such as calcium and phosphorus. The first one, once again highlights the importance of this vitamin on bone health, while the second favors concentration and energy. Another benefit of vitamin D is its influence on the immune system, thanks to which we are able to prevent flu, colds and other similar diseases.
- Vitamin B12:
Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin that is characterized by having functions related to metabolism.Among its functions we can highlight:It is involved in the process of synthesis of hemoglobin (red blood cells)
Helps maintain the central nervous system
Participates in protein synthesis
Intervenes in the metabolism of fatty acidsVitamin B12 is found in foods of animal origin, so vegetarians are at risk of low levels of vitamin B12 and it is recommended that they be supplemented.
